  -Company: when this policy mentions “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” it refers to Origin of Type, that is responsible for your information under this Return & Refund Policy.

  -Customer: refers to the company, organization or person that signs up to use the Origin of Type Service to manage the relationships with your consumers or service users.

  -Device: any internet connected device such as a phone, tablet, computer or any other device that can be used to visit Origin of Type and use the services.

  -Service: refers to the service provided by Origin of Type as described in the relative terms (if available) and on this platform.

  -Website: Origin of Type’s site, which can be accessed via this URL: www.originoftype.com

  -You: a person or entity that is registered with Origin of Type to use the Services.

Return & Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping at Origin of Type. We appreciate the fact that you support our business. 

As with any shopping experience, there are terms and conditions that apply to transactions at Origin of Type. By placing an order or making a purchase at Originoftype.com, you agree to the terms set forth below along with Policy.

If there’s something wrong with the product you bought, you have 30 days to issue a refund and return the product. Except for custom orders. At your hair consultation please provide as much details about the current condition of your hair and what you want to achieve. Please email us at hello@originoftype.com to find a solution.

If you would like to return a product, the only way would be if you follow the next guidelines:

   -We’ll accept any full-sized product for a return (no exchanges), as long as it’s at least half full and received within 30 days of initial purchase.

Refunds

We stand by the quality and efficacy of our products. That being said, if something isn’t working for you, we’ll make it right.

We carry out thorough quality check before processing the ordered item. We take utmost care while packing the product. At the same time we ensure that the packing is good such that the items won’t get damaged during transit. Please note that Origin of Type is not liable for damages that are caused to the items during transit or transportation.

We are unable to refund custom orders. At your hair consultation please provide as much details about the current condition of your hair and what you want to achieve. Please email us at hello@originoftype.com to find a solution.

We will revise your returned product as soon as we receive it and if it follows the guidelines addressed above, we will proceed to issue a refund of your purchase. Your refund may take a couple of days to process but you will be notified when you receive your money.

Shipping

Please allow 5-7 bussiness days for your order to be processed and shipped. Our products are handmade.

We are not able to make any changes to orders once they are placed.

Please make sure your shipping address and item(s0 are correct before submitting your order. Send us a message at hello@originoftype.com explaining any issues. We will be happy to assist with return requests that meet our policy requirements. Please note, we do not currently cover return costs.

Return Terms & Conditions

We monitor return and refund activity and reserve the right to limit or refuse a return or charge a return processing fee if we find that our policies have been abused. Any finding of abuse of our policies shall be in our sole discretion and is not appealable. We are not obligated to disclose our reasons and methods, other than to inform the consumer that the refund request is being refused for abuse of our return policy.
