Meet Our Founder
Our founder Melisa Moreno has always been passionate about using the healing properties of plants for health and wellness.
Years of bleaching and dyeing her hair, using conventional shampoos and conditioners, left her hair dull and damaged, with shedding, lack of volume and an itchy scalp.
In 2020 she wanted to repair her hair but she couldn’t find a hair product in the market that was clean, vegan, potent and organic that worked. Disappointed but full of curiosity, Melisa decided to experiment with Ayurvedic herbs to develop a formula to repair her hair. That’s how the Hair Growth mask was born.
Why waterless?
Aside from not finding any clean hair products in the market, I noticed that most these products use 70 % to 90 % water, which requires preservatives and leaves you with very few active ingredients and a bunch of harmful chemicals.
As an Ayurvedic Wellness Coach, I am aware of the many benefits plants, seeds, herbs offer to our health. Ayurveda uses the healing properties of the plants in different forms. I was attracted to the powdered form for their potency, concentration of properties, lasting shelf life and pureness.
What inspired you to start your Hair Care business?
Six months after creating and using my Growth Hair Mask, a friend discovered a bald spot the size of a golf ball on her head. She didn’t want to use steroids and was looking for a natural way to stop her hair loss and promote regrowth.
I told her about my formula, and she used it for a month. Her hair not only grew back, now it was 2 inches long bye. bald spot!
Inspired by my healthy hair and my friend’s fantastic experience, I developed powder-to-liquid, clean formulas that focus on your scalp and hair health.
